Vincent Stanley, co-auteur met Yvon Chouinard van The Responsible Company, werkt al vanaf de start bij het iconische kledingmerk Patagonia in verschillende marketingrollen en als hoofd verkoop. Sinds lange tijd is hij de voornaamste storyteller van Patagonia. Vincent was betrokken bij de ontwikkeling van de Footprint Chronicles, de interactieve website van het merk dat de sociale en ecologische impact van de producten beschrijft; het Common Threads Partnership (voorloper van Worn Wear); en name het initiatief voor Patagonia Books. Op dit moment is hij director of Philosophy bij Patagonia en resident fellow bij het Yale Center for Business and Environment.
